InterNetworking – Senior Network Engineer

An exciting career opportunity to join a growing Internet Solutions Provider (ISP). WaveSpeed is seeking a Senior Network Engineer experienced in Cisco Routing and Switching, network troubleshooting and the wider ranging aspects of IP. You will be very enthusiastic about IT and Communications in business and will be particularly familiar with Internet developments from a business solutions point of view. You will have experience with the Internet and Networking technology and you will be from an IP engineering background

CCNA qualified with at least two years hands on experience with the Cisco portfolio including Routers, Switches and PIX Firewall.
Extensive knowledge of TCP/IP, IP and Routing Protocols (RIP, OSPF, BGP) across the LAN and WAN environment.
Understanding of the OSI model and overall networking practices.
Have a strong desire to develop your skills.
Excellent knowledge of SIP, H323 and SS7
Show good business acumen, combining your technical skills with real world business needs.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Additional certification, such as an MCSE or MCNE are desirable
Experience with or specialization with Network Management, Security or Voice Access would be a plus
